Senior Center Meals
The Newton Senior Center serves lunch Monday-Friday at 11:45. Reserve by calling 617-796-1660 by 11:00 the previous day. Long term reservations can be made as well. Those not reserved will be asked to wait until 12:00 to enter the dining room. Reservations are forfeited after 12:00. If there is extra food available we are happy to serve those waiting. A donation of $1.75 is suggested per meal.
Springwell, makes these lunches possible.

The Newton Senior Center meal site, serviced by Springwell, offers meal choice 5 days a week. This means a choice between a traditional "hot" meal or a soup & sandwich/salad entrée. Desserts are the same as always with the option of pre-ordering a diabetic choice.
Those who reserve by 11:00 the day previous to dining are able to record a choice when they make their reservation. Those who choose not to make choices in advance will automatically be served the "hot" meal, otherwise known as choice #1. Bon Appetite!

Participants are always welcome to "brown bag" their lunch and join those who are attending the lunch program described above. Bring your own lunch and eat with a friend at the center!

The Senior Center takes great pride in its traditional "hot-dog and hamburger" BBQs. The charge per meal is $3.00 and we offer musical entertainment and dancing as part of the event. Pre-registration is encouraged to help us be prepared.
